We were delighted to welcome a group of 35 MSW (Master of Social Work) students, along with two faculty members from the University of Mumbai, to the Konkan Development Society (KDS) office as part of their study tour.
The orientation session, conducted by our dedicated team, offered insights into the various ongoing initiatives of KDS aimed at uplifting marginalized communities across the Konkan region. The 90-minute session concluded with an engaging Q&A, reflecting the curiosity and enthusiasm of the visiting students.
Following the session, the group visited two of our Community Centres located in Odxel and Taleigao. Here, they had the opportunity to interact with the students and the facilitators, gaining first-hand experience of the ground-level work being carried out and the deep commitment it requires.
