The Digital Integrated Student Aid Centre (DISAC) provides digital learning and online educational resources for less privileged children. The aim is to bridge the digital divide between the haves and have nots. The project empowers children in the use of modern tools and technologies to prepare them for the world today and for the future.
The beneficiaries of this programme have little exposure to digital technologies in their schools and very few have access to electronic gadgets at home. With most schools switching to some form of online learning during the COVID 19 crisis, the underprivileged students suffered the most due to lack of access to internet enabled devices. With online learning and the use of digital technologies in education here to stay, the DISAC program helps such students make the best use of new technologies for radical improvement in their education.
