A Special Assembly was held at our school to celebrate Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary, also observed as the International Day of Non-Violence. The programme began with a prayer by Miss Diksha of Class I, followed by the School In-Charge Mrs. Tracy Fernandes, adorning Gandhiji’s portrait. Master Nikhil Dunna of Class III delivered a short speech on Gandhiji’s life and principles.
Tr. Natasha presented a video on his journey. Ma’am Tracy then addressed the gathering, emphasizing Gandhiji’s values of truth, simplicity and non-violence. The assembly concluded with a pledge to follow his ideals. Primary students also watched the short film Chalo Jeete Hain.
