DISAC (Digital Integrated Student Aid Centre), Media, Non-Residential Special Training Centres (NRSTC)

We are happy to share the success of our recent Medical & Dental Camp organized for our NRSTC & DISAC Programmes students!

With the invaluable support of the Voluntary Health Association of Goa (VHAG), we provided comprehensive health and dental check-ups to 395 students across 12 Centres, between February 3rd and 15th, 2025.
The camp offered:
✅ General health examinations
✅ Dental treatments
✅ Awareness sessions on personal and oral hygiene

These efforts not only addressed immediate health needs but also empowered our students with vital knowledge to maintain healthy lifestyles.

Igniting Talent: Konkan Development Society’s Spectacular Sports Day!

Konkan Development Society recently hosted a dynamic Sports Day for our Non-Residential Special Training Centres (NRSTC) Project students! A total of 245 young athletes from seven centres came together, showcasing their talent, determination, and team spirit through a series of thrilling competitions.

We were honoured to have Mr. Raghunatan Ramkumar and Ms. Amruta Pikale from Colorcon Asia Pvt. Ltd., our esteemed funding partner, whose words of encouragement uplifted the participants. The event was also graced by Fr. Tony Alemao, Rector of Don Bosco Odxel, as the Guest of Honour, and Ms. Bhakti from Conexus Social Responsibility Services as a special guest.

Congratulations to the Odxel Centre for emerging as the overall champions! Their stellar performances across multiple events truly set them apart.

The day concluded with a felicitation ceremony, recognizing the dedication and achievements of all participants. The event celebrated sports and fostered teamwork, discipline, and perseverance among the students.

Distribution of Uniforms – Non Residential Special Training Centres

The students of the 7 Centres of Odxel, Chimbel, Colvale, Bicholim, Dabolim, Zuarinagar & Baina received their uniforms from the staff members of Colorcon Asia Pvt. Ltd. during the third week of October 2024. A few children who needed school bags were given those as well. Each Centre had the privilege of interacting with the respective employees of Colorcon, Mr. Vishram Tivarekar, Mr. Sahil Mandrekar, Ms. Neelam Korgaonkar, Ms. Vanshika Chodankar, Mr. Wilbur Vaz & Mr. Prasad Rane, who spent their valuable time with the children of the various Centres. Ms. Bhakti of Conexus Social Responsibility accompanied the Colorcon staff on their visit.
