Class Excursion of the Primary Section of Don Bosco School Dabolim

On 25th of February, we gathered at school and boarded the bus by 9:15 am, full of excitement. Accompanied by teachers, staff, and volunteers from Sweden, Alicia and Elsa.  We reached the Mollem Biodiversity Park in Ponda. After a warm welcome and a briefing on the park’s significance, rules, and schedule, we began our exploration. We toured various sections, including the medicinal plant garden, butterfly models and different types of trees, learning about the diverse flora and fauna. Teachers engaged students in discussions on afforestation, climate change, and conservation. After a snack break, the children enjoyed the play area, followed by lunch. Alicia and Elsa organized games that added to the fun. The day concluded with more playtime before we boarded the bus back to school.
