Don Bosco Dabolim’s collaboration with the Bookworm Trust

On 11th June 2025, Don Bosco School, Dabolim, began its collaboration with The Bookworm Trust, a non-profit organization promoting reading among children across 160+ schools in Goa. Mr. Rohan Naik, South Goa coordinator for Bookworm, was warmly welcomed by School In-Charge Ms. Tracy Fernandes. A fourth-grader, Leasia Betty, gave a welcome speech on behalf of the students, while Tr. Simran, the library coordinator, expressed gratitude on behalf of the staff. Mr. Naik was presented with a token of appreciation from the School’s Management and Staff.

Students from Grades 1 to 4 and their Teachers participated in the welcome ceremony. Grades 2 to 4 explored the travelling library van, borrowed books to take home, and were informed about the return process during Bookworm’s next visit. Grade 1 students browsed a curated selection of books. The visit brought great excitement, and the School looks forward to a long and meaningful partnership with Bookworm.
