Our recent visit to Beradki village, nestled in the forest regions of Maharashtra, highlighted the urgent need for quality education and infrastructure. With government schools located far away and lacking basic facilities, students in the village face significant challenges in accessing proper education, guidance, and support.
During discussions with the residents, we saw a strong enthusiasm for an educational training center—a space that could provide quality learning opportunities, infrastructure, and mentorship to young minds. This aligns with Don Bosco’s Konkan Development Society’s (KDS) mission to uplift and empower underprivileged communities through education and skill development.
Establishing an educational training center in Beradki could be a transformative step toward breaking barriers to education and creating a brighter future for the youth in the region.
At KDS, we are committed to bridging educational gaps and ensuring that no child is deprived of opportunities due to geographical or infrastructural limitations. This visit reaffirmed our mission, and we look forward to working on concrete steps to make this vision a reality.
