Job Placements
Don Bosco Job Placement Network
The Don Bosco Job Placement Network (DBJPN), under the umbrella of Bosconet, is aimed at tackling youth unemployment and career uncertainty. With a focus on marginalized youth aged 18–30, the initiative will provide career guidance, skill training, and job placement services to 2,000 young individuals over a 24-month period.
The project will:
- Equip 1,000 unemployed youth with employability skills and connect them to safe, secure jobs.
- Guide 1,000 school students through career awareness sessions to help them make informed choices.
- Operate help desks in collaboration with schools, colleges to offer counselling, training, and placement support.
- Organize job fairs, campus drives, and recruitment campaigns in collaboration with vetted employers.
- Use the Don Bosco Jobs portal and mobile app (JOBS DBI) to streamline access to opportunities and support services.
This initiative is part of Don Bosco Job Placement Network’s national mission to bridge the gap between education and employment, especially for underserved communities. With proven success—over 45,000 jobseekers enrolled and 27,000 placed—the network ensures ethical hiring, decent wages, and long-term retention.
By fostering partnerships with schools, employers, and government bodies, the project aims to create a sustainable ecosystem where youth can thrive professionally and socially.
