The Goan Welfare Society, Kuwait, in collaboration with Don Bosco’s Konkan Development Society (KDS) Odxel, felicitated the toppers of the Goa Board SSC Examination 2025–2026 on 3rd July at Don Bosco Primary School, Dabolim.
The felicitation ceremony was held during a Special Assembly in honour of St. Dominic Savio. The programme was attended by members of the Goan Welfare Society, Kuwait, the Awardees and their families, staff members of KDS and the staff and students of Don Bosco Primary School.
The programme commenced with a prayer service conducted by the students. The guests were warmly welcomed by Fr. Royston D’Souza, Executive Director of KDS. Tr. Natasha then presented a short video highlighting the life, virtues, principles and inspiring work of St. Dominic Savio, encouraging students to emulate his values of faith, humility and service.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Julio Cardozo, Chairman of the Goan Welfare Society, Kuwait, addressed the gathering and spoke about the Society’s scholarship programme, its objectives and its commitment to recognising and supporting deserving students.
The awards ceremony was conducted by Mr. Jose Crasto of the KDS and Ms. Tracy Fernandes, In-Charge of Don Bosco School, Dabolim.
Fr. Royston D’Souza and Mr. Julio Cardozo presented certificates and awards to the Grade X toppers, Ms. Saanvi Madgaonkar of Chowgule Education Society’s St. Joseph’s Institute and Mr. Ayush Vernekar of Saraswat Vidyalaya High School, Khorlim, in recognition of their outstanding academic achievement.
The guests were honoured with tokens of appreciation, followed by a vote of thanks expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event. The assembly concluded with the School Anthem and the National Anthem.
