Fire Safety Training at Don Bosco School, Dabolim

A Basic Fire Safety Training Programme was conducted in the School Auditorium and Entrance of Don Bosco School, Alto Dabolim on 31st July 2026, to create awareness among students and staff about essential fire safety measures and emergency preparedness.

The programme was conducted under the direction of Mr. Bandekar Sub-Officer of the Fire Department, along with four other Fire personnel.

The key basic Fire safety protocols were explained to the students and staff. Special emphasis was given to Fire safety in the kitchen, particularly while handling LPG gas. A practical demonstration on the proper use and utility of fire extinguishers was conducted. The teachers and staff were also given an opportunity to handle and operate the fire extinguishers under guidance.

The programme was hosted by Tr. Sneha, while Tr. Yashwant welcomed the guests. The training was informative and practical, helping the students and staff understand the importance of fire prevention, safety precautions, and appropriate action during a fire emergency.

The programme concluded successfully with greater awareness and confidence among the participants regarding basic fire safety practices.
